GIRI x CURRENTS

CURRENTS opens a limited series of three live electronic music nights for artists working with their sonic heritage, curated by Memeshift of sōydivision and sibling experimental label L-KW.

The title refers both to the electrical energy flowing through musical machines and to the currents of time and ocean that move people and their entwined lineages across land and water.

For the first volume, BAERK., Leng Seong and Memeshift bring together maternally blessed cassette warmth, DV cam video and synthesised computer memory.
