Do you remember those days when you spent countless hours in the studio, and finding time to socialize or connect with people wasn't always easy?
OFF THE RECORD is an intimate gathering and the idea is simple: to create a space where people can discover new sounds, meet the artists behind the music, exchange experiences and ideas and connect with each other in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Beyond the dancefloor, we want to encourage genuine conversations, spontaneous encounters and a sense of community, where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their background or experience.
The evening will begin with nil, who will guide us into his world of ambient music. His approach is rooted in intuition, curiosity and the beauty of imperfection. Through improvisation, evolving textures and unpredictable sounds, he creates an atmosphere where time seems to slow down and listening becomes an experience of its own. For nil, music is about being present in the moment and allowing things to unfold naturally, without expectations.
Following nil, Avilynn will take us on a slightly different journey from what she would usually play in a club. Guided by the intimate atmosphere of Giri, she will explore a slower, more laid-back side of her sound, creating a bridge between the ambient opening and the deeper, more rhythmic territory of the closing set. Rooted in hypnotic techno, her artistic approach values experimentation, improvisation and the human element of music.
Last but not least, Amsterdam-based Revenanth will close the evening, gradually taking us into deeper and more rhythmically driven territory. Drawing inspiration from techno and IDM, his sound moves between hypnotic rhythms, broken beats and evolving structures. His selections combine rhythmic complexity with immersive atmospheres. A natural progression into the final hours of the night, while maintaining the hypnotic character that connects all three artists.
