Definition: The number 5 is the number of freedom, change, and the body. Yes, recall the five senses (sight, touch, taste, sound, and smell) as forces that iteratively turn our curiosity outward and then about-face. Five is the human being extended into its most aliveness—restless, sensual, and ungovernable.
Five is a threshold number. It sits at the center of the single digits—old enough to know better, young enough not to care. It is resoundingly of the body, and the body knows best–things the mind has not yet agreed to. Five thrives in newness. It breaks from routine not out of rebellion alone, but out of necessity and curiosity. Five asks if staying the same was ever really an option.
But five also asks for grounding when planting new seeds. Without it, freedom becomes flight. Change becomes chaos. Novelty becomes a hunger that never settles. So this experiment is not about escape. It is about arrival into a version of ourselves that moves, burns, and transforms without losing the thread of who we are.
For our fifth experiment, we come together at a moment of collective motion. Many of us are in periods of change—new selves, new questions. Some of us are shedding. Some of us are reaching. Some of us are simply curious about what comes next. Five invites all of it. Five says: you do not have to be finished to be whole.
The Question(s): After our fourth edition, we’ve been reflecting: Do we want to change? Do we feel we deserve to change?
In this experiment, we seek further clarification.
RQ1: Can we capture change through sound?
RQ2: Can we collectively embody change without losing ourselves to it?
Setting: GIRI — a space that holds the capacity for movement, stillness, and integration.
The Invitation: We invite you to dress in freedom. Not carelessness. Not costume. But choice. Dress like who you wish to be. Think skin, shape, and sensation. Think the fabric you reach for when no one is watching. Think the color you've been told is "too much" and wear it anyway. This is not a night for armor. This is a night for embodiment. Dress for the version of yourself that is unafraid to want things, to be thing.
Participants: You, your curiosity, your body, and your friends. Bring along the routines you wish to leave behind, narrative you don’t wish to carry any longer. We are happy to help lighten the load. Sounds of change and freedom provided by ANNARA, DJ TRADE TRAINER, MADAKYA, and TA 7O.
The Promise: This will be a night of intentional music listening, dynamic self-expression, and communal alchemy—just like our previous experiments. But this time, we celebrate with motion. With risk. With the knowledge that freedom, in its truest form, is not the absence of structure—it is the ability to move within it. Come ready to listen, to move, to SYNESTRANSIA.
You are invited. We provide the sound, the light, and the space. You provide the pulse.
Join us for this fifth chapter, where we honor where we've been while stepping fully into what's next. Come early and stay for the whole journey. We are looking forward to seeing you.
